Adopt a Hive with Lancashire Honey Company

Support British bees and enjoy a unique, meaningful gift with our Adopt a Hive packages. Whether you're treating a loved one, enhancing your business’s sustainability efforts, or enriching education in your school, sponsoring a hive helps protect pollinators and promotes responsible beekeeping across Lancashire.

Honeybees are essential pollinators, playing a vital role in maintaining biodiversity, supporting food production, and helping ecosystems thrive. By sponsoring a hive, you’re directly contributing to the health of the environment and here’s how that helps reduce your carbon footprint:

  • Bees pollinate over 70% of the crops that feed the world. Healthy bee populations mean stronger harvests, fewer artificial inputs, and more resilient food systems. This reduces the need for intensive farming methods, which are often carbon-heavy.
  • Our apiaries are carefully positioned in pesticide-free environments rich in wildflowers, hedgerows, and native flora. These biodiverse landscapes act as carbon sinks, drawing COâ‚‚ out of the atmosphere while providing essential forage for pollinators.
  • For businesses, sponsoring a hive is a visible, measurable step towards sustainability. It supports environmental education, conservation, and the UK bee population all of which contribute to wider climate action goals.

Each package runs for 12 months and includes regular updates straight from the hive.
