About Us

Who We Are

Hello! We’re Adam and Rebecca, founders of Lancashire Honey Company, local beekeepers nestled in the heart of the Lancashire countryside. What started as a simple fascination with bees has grown into a full-scale passion project. One that blends sustainable practices with a love for natural craftsmanship.

Our Honey

Our Buckfast honeybees forage on wildflowers and hedgerows across Lancashire’s unspoilt landscape, producing beautiful golden honey with rich, natural flavour. It’s raw and unprocessed, just as nature intended.

Beyond the Hive

Inspired by the natural wax our bees produce, we also handcraft pure beeswax candles. Each one brings the warmth and comfort of nature into your home, celebrating the simple beauty of traditional craftsmanship.

Why Bees Matter

Bees pollinate over 70% of the world’s flowering plants and play a vital role in global food production and biodiversity. But with habitat loss, pesticides, disease and climate change putting bee populations at risk, our work has never been more important.

Our Mission

At Lancashire Honey Company, we’re not just making honey, we’re supporting bee conservation, one hive at a time. Through responsible beekeeping and ongoing hive expansion, we’re doing our part to support healthy pollinator populations across the region.

Education & Outreach

We believe education is key. That’s why we deliver engaging talks to schools, businesses, and community groups with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of bees and inspiring the next generation of bee advocates.

Swarm Collection

As part of our commitment to responsible beekeeping, we also offer a local swarm collection service. If you’ve spotted a swarm of honeybees in your garden, outbuilding, or nearby trees, don’t panic — we’re here to help. Swarming is a natural process, and safely relocating honeybees is an important part of protecting both the bees and the public. We're fully equipped to collect and rehome swarms responsibly within the Lancashire area.
